A five part motet. Cantus is composed in free Counterpoint, Altus is a monotone ostinato and the tenorparts are a four in one Canon in the unison. Bassus is a ostinato on the functional bass notes of the first and fifth degree. The Cantus and Tenor parts are sung to parts of the 119- th psalm from the psalter and altus and Bassus are sung to panegyric texts extoling Count Fredrich of Saxony, Luther and Melancton.
