In three movements of differing textures and moods, this work aims to exploit spatial movement of sound sources as well as the timbral blend of the instruments. This work contains three movements of differing textures and moods. The challenge and aim of this work was to glean differing characters out of an ensemble with relatively limited color and attack, compared to the myriad of colors in the percussion world. Spatial movement of sound sources is integral to the composition. At times the instrumental sounds blend together, at others they are in opposition, or moving spatially from side to side. Curios are odd and curiosity provoking artifacts. Thus, each piece is a resonance from looking at or holding various objects.

In drei Sätzen mit unterschiedlichen Texturen und Stimmungen, soll diese Arbeit räumliche Bewegung von Schallquellen als auch die klanglichen Mischung der Instrumente zu nutzen. Dieses Werk enthält drei Sätze unterschiedlichen Texturen und Stimmungen. Die Herausforderung und Ziel dieser Arbeit war es, unterschiedliche Charaktere aus einem Ensemble mit relativ begrenzten Farb und Angriff aufzulesen, im Vergleich zu der Vielzahl von Farben in der Percussion-Welt. Räumliche Bewegung von Schallquellen ist integraler Bestandteil der Zusammensetzung. Manchmal mischen sich die Instrumentalklänge zusammen, bei anderen sind sie in der Opposition sind, oder bewegen räumlich von Seite zu Seite. Kuriositäten sind ungerade und Neugier anregen Artefakte. Somit ist jedes Stück ein Resonanz aus der Betrachtung oder halten verschiedene Objekte.
