Including six percussion parts using a wide variety of common percussion instruments, the 6. 8 rollicking nature of this optimistic work helps it to constantly move forward. With a few well-cued solo exposures and some sparsely scored sections cushioned by tutti passages, this is a Latin-tinged winner for any band.
