Cy Payne has carefully adapted the arrangement for the usual Big Band line up, plus optional Synth. Strings. The lyrical intro is on Alto Sax. The first 8 bars of the Vocal have just a Piano backing and then the Saxes and Synth. Strings add just the right atmosphere. Muted Brass contribute to the dreamy feeling, whilst Cy has faithfully re-created the powerfull Brass figures from the original recording, before this un-missable chart glides to its magical ending. Keys as recording. Same as 4229 but with full Strings instead of Synthesizer.
