Part 1 of 2 of the orchestral version contains the score in concert pitch (except for the string bass, written an octave higher even in the concert pitch version) and transposed formats. The tenor part goes from C below middle C to G above middle C. Instrumentation required: 1 flute, 1 oboe, 2 Bb clarinets, Bb bass clarinet played by 2nd clarinetist, 2 French horns, 1 Bb trumpet, 1 tuba, timpani, 1st and 2nd violin, viola, cello, and bass. (String players can be any number, but wind player numbers are specific.) (The total cost for the orchestral version is $46.).
