String Quartet - Early Intermediate - Digital Download

SKU: S0.46037

Composed by F. Irvin. Arranged by Sharon Wilson. Contemporary Classical,Christian,Sacred,Repertoire,Wedding. Score,Set of Parts. 9 pages. Published by Sharon Wilson (S0.46037).

This song for string quartet is one of the five pieces in the collection "Sacred Meditations for Strings."  Designed for those times when a short, reflective musical interlude is needed, this selection takes just over a half minute to perform (for a longer performance, this piece can easily be repeated). This quiet, prayerful arrangement is ideal for filling those moments during or after a prelude, offertory, invitation, or communion, and especially lovely as a prayer response or for a wedding.

This is a straight-forward arrangement suitable for beginner to early intermediate string players with all notes playable in the first position (and the easiest of the five in this series). The gently flowing notes provide an excellent opportunity for mastering tone and vibrato as well as experimenting with various slurring techniques. The Violin 3 part is the same as the Viola part in case a Viola player is not available. The purchase price includes the 3 page combined score plus a 1 page, 1 staff score for each of the 5 parts.
