Ralph Sauer has beautifully arranged Bach's famous melody "Arioso" taken from Cantata No. 156 & Clavier Concerto No. 5. Each part of the melody is repeated, the first time with the simple Cantata phrasing and the second time from the ornamented Clavier Concerto. The end result is a beautiful melding of a piece of music from heaven for four part Trombone Ensemble. This work can be performed by moderately advanced musicians.
