Heaven Glimpsed; a cantata for SATB choir, solo voices, and organ based on text from the New Testament Book of Revelation. A Prelude for organ solo opens the cantata, seven sections follow.

The Lord beckons John to peer through an open door and see the marvels of heaven. John sees a throne, describes the beasts of heaven who in turn sing praises to God. The prophesy is heard announcing the second coming and again the Lord is deemed worthy of praises and blessings.

This 5th vocal section in the cantata, is a short, chorale-like movement. The score was originally part of the 4th section. I have separated the 2 sections into their individual scores BUT, sections 4 & 5 are to be performed without a break.

The attached mp3 includes sound samples only though infinitely better than midi. Please use the mp3 file for an aural approximation.
