This is a collection of 48 sonatas and dance movements by Dietrich Becker. The collection is divided into 9 suites; eight for 2 violins and continuo, and one for 1 violin, 1 viola da gamba and continuo. This collection, Erster Theil Zwey-stimmiger Sonaten und Suiten was printed in Hamburg in 1674. The source used for this transcription is a facsimile of the original print.
