"Après un rêve", originally a song by G. Fauré, has become a cello-classic for decades. The Virtual Sheet Music version is not simply the original song and its accompaniment, but an enriched version, in which the piano acquires a melodic line as well, apart from its role as mere accompaniment in the strict sense. The melancholic and medidative mood makes this score suitable for funeral or remembrance services.
